We had a unique custom home at the top price point for the Pollock Pines market. Carla was positive, steadfast, and worked diligently. After years of preparation and waiting for the right time to purchase our first home, we finally were able to pull the trigger and make it happen. Problem was, we had no idea on how to start the process. My wife and I have a friend that had referred Carla Ferrante, a RE/MAX Gold Realtor. We ended up contacting Carla late in the evening on a Friday night due to a house that came onto the market that was something we were very interested in. She immediately started the ball rolling explaining everything we were going to go through process wise and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately we were outbid on this home but this didn’t deter her. She immediately started a custom tailored email notification setup that anytime something came onto the market that was within the range and parameters we were looking for, we got an email with all the details and information regarding the house. It didn’t take long for us to find the one we were looking for. From start to finish Carla has had our backs, in sense babysitting us because we were such newbies in the process yet that didn’t matter. She built an offer that was hands down the best many have seen, having our family picture on the letterhead, a hand written letter from us explaining how bad we would like to have the house, etc. The sellers accepted our offer and that’s when all the fun started. Again, my wife and I had no idea what to expect process wise but Carla walked us through every single step making us feel right at home. The staff she works with like Marty McGovern in lending is top notch! Marty presented us with multiple rate choices, down payments, costs, etc. He explained how everything worked and his estimated closing costs once finally compiled were right on the money. We are so excited to get into our first home but also a bit bummed now that the daily check ins with Carla are going to stop. Carla is someone you want on your side, buying or selling. She’s a pit bull and a kitten in the same, depending on the circumstances. We sent many of group texts back and forth and cracked up on the jokes and one liners. I will definitely miss this part of the home buying experience but ended up gaining a great friend. I know there are countless options out there in regards to realtors but know if you are in the market and are looking for someone to represent you the way you want to be along with years and years of experience, you need to choose Carla, hands down! Carla, we cannot thank you enough for this amazing experience and absolutely breathtaking house we now own, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
